Major NSW Government infrastructure projects required bush regeneration and land care works to be delivered at scale, in live construction environments and in line with strict environmental, safety and sustainability standards. Contractors HL Landscapes needed a reliable labour hire partner that could support complex project delivery while also meeting social procurement objectives.

Green Yakka partnered with HL Landscapes from 2020 to provide bush regeneration and land care labour across major NSW Government infrastructure projects, including Parramatta Light Rail and The New Northern Road Upgrade. Working alongside tier-one contractors Acciona and CPB Contractors, Green Yakka supplied trained crews to deliver on-the-ground revegetation and land care works across road and rail corridors.

Our teams carried out plant and tree installation, turfing, mulching and ongoing weed management in accordance with project specifications, government environmental requirements and safety standards. All works were delivered reliably and at scale through Green Yakka’s labour hire model, while creating paid employment and training opportunities through social procurement.
